Terry worked as an electrician at Daniels International, Fulton State Hospital, and the Truman Building. He served in the United States Army and the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father, Martin L. Adams, his step-father, Doyle Kemp Vaughn (memorial #64430289), one brother, Kenneth "Sonny" Adams, one sister, Carolyn "Sissy" Bezler, and an infant son, Chad Lynn Adams (memorial #76328183).
