Mrs. Catherine Morningstar, wife of Joel Morningstar, 734 East Wenger street, died Friday night. She was 77 years old.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Reuben, John, William, Alfred, Carrie, Clara and B. F. [Benjamin] Morningstar and Mrs. Willard Holcomb, all of South Bend, and Henry Morningstar, Des Moines, Ia. A brother, F. D. Airgood, Servia, Ind., also survives her.

Funeral services will be held privately Monday from the residence at 1:30 o'clock and from the First Church of the Brethren at 2 o'clock, Rev. T. E. George officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery.
