Services for Charles Alberti, 74, of 7022 South Shore Dr., will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel at 6935 Stony Island Avenue. He died Saturday in Woodlawn Hospital from a heart attack.
Mr. Alberti was a director of the Chicago Federation of Musicians, and a member of the federation for more than 50 years. He taught instrumental music at the Chicago School of Music, the Cosmopolitan School of Music, and the Calumet Conservatory of Music and Drama. Surviving are two sons, Charles Jr. and Richard; a sister and a brother.
