Elaine Engelbrecht-Thiel, 64, of De Pere died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at her home. Elaine was born January 3, 1940, in Manitowoc to the late Walter and Olivia (Klug) Engelbrecht. Elaine was a member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Bay and a manager at K-Mart West for many years. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, swimming at the CP Center and playing cards with her girlfriends.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Corleen and Bradley Fille of De Pere, and a granddaughter, Santana Andrea Keehan; a sister, Bonita and Larry Hoffman of Green Bay; brother, Eldor and Linda Engelbrecht of Green Bay; nieces and nephews, Doris and Glenn Uecker of Appleton, Mark and Gayle Hoffman of Eagle River, Dale and Joan Engelbrecht of Green Bay, Ren‡e Teske of Green Bay, Dawn and Keith Habeck of Kellnersville, Clyde and Sarah Engelbrecht of Maribel, Lee Engelbrecht of Green Bay, great nieces and great nephews; and step-sisters Janice Kakas and Joyce Marcelle.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, a step-father Ray Wilson, and a nephew David Hoffman.

Friends may call on Thursday from 9-11 a.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 514 S. Clay St., Green Bay. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Roy Rose officiating. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Maribel.
