Renowned journalist and writer. He began his career as a society columnist for the Washington Times-Herald, and later moved to the Hearst-owned New York Journal-American. He was the second person to write a gossip column as "Cholly Knickerbocker," taking over from Maury Paul after Paul's death. Cassini's first Cholly Knickerbocker column appeared on September 4, 1945, and he continued the column for the next 18 years.

Gravesite Details

Cremated, was told by a family member he was suppose to be in the old russian cemetery in Nanuet, but they have no record. after checking further cremations are not allowed in Russian Orthodox Cemeteries. Waiting for confirmation before updating.
