Dorothy R. (Billingsley) Eby Firebaugh died peacefully in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Feb. 12, 2019, at the age of 90. Dorothy was born on Feb. 11, 1929, in Garland, Mont., to Norbert and Vera Billingsley. She was born the second to the last of 19 children. Dorothy was married to Glen Eby and William Firebaugh, with both marriages ending in divorce.
She is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Glennda and Tom Hargrave of Dayton, Wash., Cathy Hudson of Coeur d’Alene and Shirlee Bennett of Post Falls, Idaho; seven granddaughters; one grandson; 19 great-grandkids; one sister: Maryann Perovich in Missoula, Mont., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 18 brothers and sisters; one son, Mike Eby, in 2012; a granddaughter and her husband, Korie and Ben Mullican, in 2014.
By her request, her urn will be placed with her mom and dad in the Bonners Ferry Cemetery. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
