SAD NEWS.—A despatch from Dubuque, Ia., states that Mr. Edward W. Flint of Salem committed suicide in that city, on the 10th inst., by shooting himself through the head. He was about twenty-one years of age, and was a son of Simeon Flint, Esq., and was highly respected by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Until within a few months he had been in business with his father in Salem, but felt that he should like the West and removed to Dubuque.
