Lawrence E. Harris, 83, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009. He was born on October 28, 1925 in Three Rivers, Texas to Fred H. Harris and Dahlia Heim Harris. He was a resident of Corpus Christi since 1945. Lawrence was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corp serving during World War II. He was known to be a perfectionist with a good heart, caring for his mother for several years until her final days. He was an avid hunter and later in years become a photographer of nature. He will be dearly missed by his entire family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dahlia; brother, Charles Harris; sister, Freddie Lucille; and brother, Edward Harris.

Lawrence is survived by his brother, James Ray Harris and sister-in-law, Mona G. Harris [Simona].

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 with a Rosary that same evening in the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
