Darla D. Jacobs, 50, of Muncy died Saturday, February 23, 2019, at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

Born December 7, 1968 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Linda (Stone) Jacobs and Chester Jacobs, of Muncy.

Darla was a 1987 graduate of Muncy High School. She worked at the former Whitman’s and the Dollar General, Hughesville. Most recently Darla worked as a cashier at Weis Markets, Muncy.

She loved the outdoors. Earlier in life, Darla enjoyed swimming and floating down the creek in Picture Rocks. She was also fond of camping and teaching the neighborhood children how to find rocks and crystals.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her significant other, Francis E. Burke II, of Muncy; a son, Dakota M. and Ariel Burke, of Picture Rocks; a daughter, Brooklyn M. Burke, of Muncy; and a grandson, Leo Michael Burke.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Steven R. Smith, pastor of Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, officiating.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Darla’s name be made to Grenoble Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
