Louis Michael Bobish, age 72 of Enola, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2019. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him during his struggle with cancer and ultimately gave him peace. Louis was born on May 17, 1946 in Harrisburg. He was the son of the late Michael and Ruth Bobish. Louis was a graduate of John Harris High School and served in the United States Army Reserve. He worked for UGI Utilities, Inc. for 43 years. After retirement he enjoyed working part time for the Commonwealth of PA as a security guard, Secretary for the IBEW, Treasurer for the Enders Family Association, board member for the Camp Curtain Historical Society, member of the Mechanicsburg Sportsman Club and Doc Fritchey Trout Unlimited. Louis enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife, fishing and hunting with good friends, and watching his grandchildren grow. Known for his ease of frequent conversation; his laughter and joking will never be forgotten. Louis is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jeanne Bobish; three daughters, Charlene Reddington, Stephanie Pishock, and Dawn Howell and husband Justin Howell; and three grandchildren, Ethan, Libby and Benjamin Howell. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan Reddington. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28th from 9:30-10:30 AM at Holy Apostles Orthodox Church. An Orthodox funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, followed by a grave side service at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Apostles Orthodox Church Building Fund, 7111 Wertzville Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. The family would also like to thank his doctors, nurses and aides for their compassionate care throughout his illness.
