Lois Juanita Carter Swagerty "Gigi", born April 30, 1920 in Silverlake, Texas, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 87. Her loving family includes, son, Presley Swagerty and his wife Jeanie, Sachse, Texas; granddaughter, SaraBeth Swagerty, Waco, Texas; grandson, Jordan Swagerty, Sachse, Texas. She is also lovingly survived by sister-in-law, Billie Carter, and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents Ode and Minnie Carter, two sisters Ruby Turley and Oma Darnell, and four brothers Wallace Carter, Dude Carter, Bunk Carter, and Bill Carter. Lois will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Garland, and funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Everidge officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. at Woodside Cemetery in Grand Saline, Texas. If preferred, in lieu of flowers, make donations to the Prime Timers, First Baptist Church of Sachse
