To try and keep things straight we start with Millards first wife Sarah Wilkins married 24 March 1870 and the mother of seven of his children. 7 Dec 1895 Millard married his second wife Sallie Loftis ;they had one child together but it died young.
1880 Mecklenburg County Va census list John ,Sarah and three children Ellen S. 1871 ,Ida Scott 1874 and Sallie Frances 1878. Before 1900 they had Willie born 1881 , Andrew born 1884 , John born 1885 Lucy born 1892 . Sadly by 1899 Sarah Wilkin Wilkinson and her two daughters Sallie Frances and Ida Scott Wilkinson Parrett had died ,
In the 1900 Halifax county Va census Millard is listed with Sallie Loftis [his wife] and his five remaining children. Millard worked as a miller.
