Mrs. Romelia “Molly” Battisti, 98, Matriarch of the Battisti family home at 10 John Street for many years, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday afternoon, February 26, 2019, at the Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Little Falls.

She was a lifelong resident of St. Johnsville who was a devoted wife, mother of four, and friend to more people than can be listed here. Molly was a dedicated member of the St. Johnsville Business Girls. Growing up she loved to dance, and her childhood dream was to be a dancer. She enjoyed tennis, golf, and cooking and was justly famous for her homemade pasta, pies, and Italian cookies.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Romeo.

She is survived by her son, Richard; her daughters, Lorraine (Wayne) O’Connor, Tina (Steven) Nabinger and Christa (Salvatore) Giarrizzo; grand-daughters, Jessica (Taylor) Divine, Lauren (Brian) McCrocklin, Sabrina Nabinger, Juliet Nabinger, Grace Giarrizzo and Anna Giarrizzo; and great-grandchildren, Rosalie Divine and Nolan McCrocklin.

Her sense of humor, endless energy, and love of life will be missed by all who knew her. We will never forget her sparkling eyes, her infectious laugh, and her constant love for all of us.

This spring there will be a burial service at the St. Johnsville Cemetery.
