Mrs. Alvina Barlow
Mrs. Alvina Barlow, widow of Joseph Barlow of Hoosick Falls, died yesterday at the Putnam Memorial Hospital, Bennington, Vt., where she was taken Monday following a stroke of apoplexy suffered upon her return from the village's business section about 11 p.m. Born in Morrisonville about seventy years ago, she resided in Bennington before moving to Hoosick Falls many years ago.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Barlow of Bennington and Edward Barlow of Hoosick Falls; five daughters, Mrs. Grace Bass and Mrs. Mary Eggware of Bennington, Mrs. Octavia Richards of Mechanicville, Mrs. Eugenia Ayers of Hoosick Falls and Mrs. Matthew Cashman of Watervliet; two brothers, Eugene Rock of Morrisonville and Joseph Rock of Plattsburg; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the residence on High Street Friday at 8:30 a.m. and at Sacred Heart Church, Bennington, at 9 a.m.
