She grew up learning the photography business from her parents who owned and operated Nichols Studio, known later as Hugghins Photography.
Marian was a majorette in the band at Jacksonville High School.
She married Wayne G. Davis in 1951 at the First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville and moved to Houston, Texas where they lived until they retired in Katy, Texas. Marian was a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
Wayne worked for Prudential Insurance while Marian raised their two daughters. In the 70's, Marian and Wayne worked as a team to open their own insurance agency. Many friendships were made throughout their successful insurance career.
Marian and Wayne enjoyed 68 years of marriage. Joint services will be held at a later date.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Wayne G. Davis; father, Leonard H. Hugghins and mother. Lula Hugghins; isters, Frances and Marjorie and brother, Gordon Hugghins.
Survived by daughters, Lisa Wallace (Jim), Lou Ann Davis; grandchildren, Chrislyn Chaloupka, Chris Proctor, Kevin Wallace, Hannah Tiner, Sarah Tiner; great grandchildren, Quinlyn Honeycutt and Lincoln Honecutt.
