Patent trader - Thursday, April 15, 1971: - HYDE PARK - William Hicks Lewis, 63, of Hyde Park, brother of Orsle Lewis of Brewster, died Friday in Tucson, Ariz. A native of the Town of Kent, Mr. Lewis was born June 18, 1907, the son of Freeman and Eveline Lee Lewis. He was a retired merchant seaman. Besides his brother in Brewster, Mr. Lewis leaves four sisters, Mrs. Belle Weygant of New Windsor, Mrs. Gertrude Coe of Morristown, N.J., and Mrs. Marjorie Vandemark and Mrs. Maude Muthig, both of Newburgh; two other brothers, Towner of Marlboro and George of Hartford, Conn. Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at the Mulvey Funeral Home, Poughkeepsie, the Rev. Arthur L. King, officiated. Burial was in the Union Cemetery, Hyde Park.
