He was a 1955 graduate of West High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran serving with the 3rd Infantry Division and he was awarded the EIB in 1960. A member AMVETS #1928 and Agonis Club. John was one of seven original founders in 1963 of Capital Fire Protection and retired after 40 years of service.
