Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. for Dr. Ellsworth Custer Jackson, 89, veteran dentist and former school board member, who died Monday afternoon in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Dr. Jackson made his home with a son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Noble Lett, 4049 Gallia St., New Boston.
Rev. Dr. J. Carl Plummer, pastor of Bigelow Methodist Church, will officiate at services at Windel-Howland Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery at Jackson at 3 p.m. Thursday.
