Virginia (Fornal) Zuno, age 96 of Hamilton Twp., passed away July 4th, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Hamilton, Mrs. Zuno was a lifelong area resident.
Virginia retired from General Motors Fisher Body in West Trenton where she worked on the production line during WWII.
Predeceased by her parents, Charles Parello Smith and Caroline Fischer; husband, Anthony A. Zuno; son-in-law, Richard Pizzuti; siblings, Madeline Ragucci, Charles Smith, Dorothy Walters, Mildred Berman, Caroline Kaner, Ann Weiss, and Nicholas Smith,
Virginia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Walter and MaryAnn Fornal; a daughter, Robin Fornal Pizzuti, all of Hamilton; a sister, Rosemarie Hunter of Fl.; a brother, Anthony Smith of New Mexico; two grandchildren and spouses, Dr. Jill Fornal Young and Dr. Kristopher Young, and David Fornal Esq. and Lauren Fornal; six great-grandchildren, Sydney, Jenna, Ryan, Andrew, Michael, and Patrick, many nieces and nephews, and her special caregiver, Sara Khalilova.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Raphael's Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours are Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Hartmann Memorial Home 2830 Nottingham Way Mercerville NJ 08619.
The family request all visitors to please wear face masks.
