Laura Ann was also known as Anne. She was the daughter of Amos Weeks and Cornelia A (Emeline) Brown Kingsley. In Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa on 7 February 1873 she married Charles (Charlie) James Gill, the son of Thomas and Charlotte Plane Gill. Charles and Laura had four children: Mattie Gill born 1874 married Theron G Demaray and they had Richard and Ruth. Mattie at one time was married to a Mr McWhorter. William Gill was born in 1873 and was a druggist. He married Bertha Giese in 1900 and they had children: Foster, Keith E, Eugene and Charles W. They resided in Terrell. Emma Gill graduated from Havelock school in 1897 and was a teacher. In 1899 she married Clarence Lighter/Lightner and they lived in Rolfe They had at least five children: Charlene, Jay H, Jack R, Jeanne, and Marian. Carl Gill was also a druggist and lived in Terrell. Carl married Maud and they had at least one child, Merwyn.
