Arthur Frank Held died at 4:40am in the Grafton City Hospital. He had been ill for six months and seriously ill for 3 weeks. Mr. Held was the son of the late John Frederick and Adelgunde Braudner Held.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Harvey Held, two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Shaffer of Grafton, and Mrs. Arnold Argenio of Akron, Ohio, and one step-son, George McCauley of Grafton. He is also survived by two brothers, Carl and William Held of Grafton, two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Knott of Waynesburg, PA and Mrs. Flora Henderson of Grafton. Also eight grandchildren.
Proceeding him in death were two sisters and two brothers. He was a painting contractor and a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Grafton.
