Funeral services for WO Terry Mezera, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Mezera, 3224 Midway, will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Prock Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Olaf's Church with the Rev. Myron Meinen officiating. WO Mezera was killed Jan. 16 when a helicopter he was piloting was shot down in South Vietnam. He was born July 5, 1949, in Eau Claire and was graduated from North High School in 1967. He had been in Vietnam 10 months at the time of his death. Surviving besides his parents, are a brother, Mark, U.S. Air Force; two sisters, Mrs. Richard Carpenter, Racine, and Pam at home; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Farris, Shawano, and Mr. and Mrs. James O'Connor, Milwaukee. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday and until time of services at Procks. A public prayer vigil will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
