ANDREWS, Allen Died May 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Catherine (K), his parents, Lt. General Frank M. and Jeanette Allen Andrews and his sister Josephine Whitlock. He is survived by his son and daughter- in-law, Frank M. and Leslie Andrews, daughter and son-in- law, Jan and Robert Clark, granddaughter, Camille Catherine Andrews, sister Jean Andrews Peterson, sister-in-law, Marjorie Tidmore and several nieces and nephews. Allen will be remembered especially for his love of family, his wit, his gentle courtesy and his welcoming friendship. Allen was greatly loved and admired by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Hearth and Home Assisted Living, 55 Great Hill Road, Vandalia, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Dayton Foundation for the National Aviation HaIl of Fame Endowment Fund (Fund 3237) or the St. Pauls Episcopal Church Endowment Fund (Fund 3173). Arrangements by Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home.

Allen will be remembered especially for his love of family, his wit, his gentle courtesy and his welcoming friendship. Allen was greatly loved and admired by all who knew him.
