Manuelito Villacote Aflleje, 71, passed away on Wednesday March 13, 2019. He was born in Laylety, Philippines in 1947 to the late Francisco and Anacorita Aflleje. He is a Veteran and served in the US Army.

He is preceded in death by his wife Joan, and brothers, Frank, Bill, and Raymond Aflleje. His hobbies were classic cars, Corvettes, and he had a love for music. He was a member of the Hot Rod Club of Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island Cruisers, and loved Car shows and the Turkey Run at Daytona Beach. He attended First Coast Christian Center and was a native of Jacksonville, and resided in Yulee, Florida.

Survivors include his son, Chris Aflleje; daughter, Lara Springeman; brothers, Wayne Aflleje (Barbara), George Aflleje, Bobby Aflleje, and Richard Aflleje (Vickie), and sister-in-law Elaine, step children, Kimberly, Jane, and John; grandchildren, Keerstin, Bradley, Isaiah, Liana, Cierra, CJ, and Cooper, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at 12:30 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Perry Fruscella officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:30pm. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
