Cheraw - - Services for Ellen Brock Polson, 81, will be held at 4 p.m. today, Jan. 8, 1999, at Forest Pines Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield is in charge. Memorials may be made to Cheraw Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 28, Cheraw 29520. Mrs. Polson, widow of James Howard Polson, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999. Born in Chesterfield County, she was a daughter of Charlie and Bessie Annie Brock. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Billy Polson of Cheraw; daughters, Barbara Tarlton and Mabel Tolson, both of Cheraw; sister Annie Belle Hunter of Kannapolis, N.C.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Jack Polson; and daughter, Patricia Polson.
