CLAIRE ELIZABETH Passed away peacefully January 9, 2007. Claire was born in San Francisco on February 23, 1925. A graduate of Oakland Tech High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Remo Lucchetti on September 30, 1945. Claire enjoyed traveling with her family and socializing with her dear friends. She spent her many working years along side her husband in the poultry business at Swans Market in Oakland. Claire was a longtime member of the Colombo Club Auxillary and was an avid Oakland Raider fan who attended several Super Bowls. Claire was a beautiful and strong woman whose life revolved around her loving family. Claire is survived by her husband of 61 years, Remo, her best friend and daughter, Nanci Biasotti, son-in-law Robert Biasotti, dearest granddaughter Natalie Sucharski and her husband Jeremy, her brother Joe Wood, sister-in-law Pat, and caring nephews Gary, Rick, and Joe Wood, and Dario, Chris and Randy Lucchetti. Friends are invited to attend visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm on Monday, January 15, 2007 at Albert Brown Mortuary, 3476 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 11:00 am, St. Mary's Cemetery, 4529 Howe Street in Oakland.
