Corwin died May 22 in Los Angeles. He was born march 28, 1927 in Waynesburg, Penn.
Corwin was a retired uranium miner and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He belonged to the Grants Masonic Temple as a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Grants.
Survivors include his daughters Nancy Waters of Albuquerque, Jackye Scyrkels of Grants, and Connie Smith of Winto, Calif.; brother Robert "Bob" Corwin of Lilliwaup, Wash.; sisters, Mary Jane Logan of Waynesburg, Penn. and Wilma Henderson of Pittsburgh, Penn.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Corwin is preceded in death by his wife Betty Ruth Clanton Corwin; daughter, Margaret Ruth Corwin; parents, Charles C. Corwin and Margaret McClelland Corwin.
Pallbearers will be Carl Smith, James Scyrkels, Stephen Scyrkels, Larry Killough, Anthony Ortiz, and Wayne Spurgeon.
