Mrs. Nancy Jane Fisher

Mrs. Nancy Jane Fisher died Saturday at the home of John W. Hopper of Crow Stage after an illness of one week. She was 60 years old. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Waler-Poole chapel. Burial will be in the new I.O.O.F cemetery.

She was born in Illinois Sept. 7, 1871 and came to Lane county in 1903. She lived in Lane and Benton counties since coming to Oregon.

She married W. T. Sterling in 1880 and three children of this union survive her. They are Leslie Sterling of Eugene, Mrs. Dollie Cole of St. Helens and Mrs. Daisy Maxfield of Wheatland, Cal. In 1912 she married John E. Fisher. Of this union two children survive, Neil Fisher of Eugene and Mary Fisher of Salem. Others who survive her are two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Popejoy of Indiana and Mrs. Emma Hake of Eula, four brothers, Nathan Marshal of Tumwater, Wn., Charles, Frank and William Marshall of Eugene, and nine grandchildren.
