Gloyd.
George W. Gloyd died at 1 p. m. yesterday at the residence of his son Almond, 425 West Pierce street, aged 70 years, 10 months and 18 days, after an illness of seven years' duration, being afflicted with heart trouble. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the house, Elder James S. Gash officiating. Interment in Oakwood cemetery.
Deceased was born in Indiana June 6, 1836, and is survived by his wife and two children, Almond and Mrs. Sarah Duncan, both of this city. He has been a resident here for many years.
