Nicomedes R. Anzaldua, 76, of Texas City and formerly of Olton, died Monday, March 25, 2019, in Texas City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 29, 2019, at Main Street Church of Christ in Olton with Mr. Joe Carrasco officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Nicomedes was born September 15, 1942, in Pecos, Texas, to Antonio and Modesta (Gomez) Rivera. She married Eduardo Anzaldua on November 22, 1961. Living in Texas City for over 35 years, Nicomedes enjoyed working in her yard and gardening. She was a talented cook, baker, and collected many things, including coins and stamps. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eduardo Anzaldua, a son, Amador Anzaldua, and a brother, Simon Rivera.

Survivors include three sons, two brothers, six sisters, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
