Howard was born to the late Thomas "Papa" Zemriah Adams and Lucinda (McCollum) Adams. He enjoyed the farm and driving a tractor. He retired as owner from Adams Sand Company. His son Kevin took over the company, however Howard continued to be the boss. Howard was a good Christian man and most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers Junior, Ray, Dan, and Pete; and three sisters Gypsy, Erie, and Jane. Howard is survived by his wife Wanda Lane Adams; two sons Kevin Adams and Kent Adams (Diane); two brothers Alvin and Robert Adams; sister, Jean Tuttle; grandchildren, Kelly, Amber, Hailie, Parker; a special friend Jack, who helped Howard at the sand company; and wonderful friends Don and June Koontz who were always there for him.
