Billy Ray Blanton age 53 of Oil Springs, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at Oil Springs, Kentucky. He was born August 15, 1965 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Billy Joe and Delphine Williams Blanton. He was the husband of Tracy Harvey Blanton, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Billy Joe Blanton of Concord, Kentucky, and Denny Joe Blanton of Oil Springs, Kentucky, one daughter, Breanna Lutes of Stanton, Kentucky, one brother, Danny Joe Blanton of Oil Springs, Kentucky, and three sisters, Sue Conley of Cynthianna, Kentucky, and Brenda Stamper and Anita Owens both of Oil Springs, Kentucky. Ten grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday, April 5, 2019 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Derrick Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams/Blanton Family Cemetery at Oil Springs, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 12 pm Thursday, April 4, 2019, and anytime Friday prior to funeral services.
