Michael N. Miller, 54 passed on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at his Fremont home. He was born September 19, 1952 in Camp Polk, LA to Ralph J. and Norma L. (Gressman) Miller. Michael was a 1970 graduate of Fremont Ross High School, a self employed contractor, and the owner of Michael N. Miller Quality Builders, LLC. On May 14, 2005, he married DiDi Oakleaf in Fremont and she survives. He was a member of Green Springs United Methodist Church, Sandusky County Builders Association, Fremont Moose, Fremont Elks, NRA, Ducks Unlimited, Oak Harbor Conservation Club, Fremont Isaac Walton, and Green Springs Masonic Lodge. Mr. Miller was a sponsor for the Burgoon Little League, a Bowling Team, Lamar Burkhart/Andy Shammo Sprint Car and numerous Lakota School events. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, classic car shows, poker, cooking, following the Cleveland Indians & he was a Cleveland Browns Fan. Michael loved his family and grandchildren especially. Surviving are his parents and children, Heidi L. (Joshua) Fortney of Tiffin, Jeremy J. Miller of North Olmstead and Brooke N. (Drew) Lee of Fremont; grandchildren, Bryce A. Root, Allison L. Fortney, MacKenzie J. Fortney and Macy L. Root; brothers, Kenneth J. (Gina) Miller, Glendon A. Miller, Scott R. Miller and Dan (Peggy) Miller. Preceding him in death is a daughter, Trudy L. Miller. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 10, 2007 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. on Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rick Burkhart and Nancy Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Green Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Green Springs United Methodist Church of the family's choice.
