He was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Chicago, a son of Harold C. and Ann M. Kuncl.
Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Lomira High School. He enjoyed railroading and was owner/operator of a rail motor car, He was involved in model railroading and was a member of Motor Car Collectors of America, North American Rail Cars Association and Mississippi Valley Division of Rail Car Operators.
Survivors include his parents, one brother, Harold J. and his wife Janis of Brownsville, one nephew, Gary Johnson of Lakeland, Minn; his wife Carol Johnson of Kaukauna, one niece, Sally Ruback and her husband Randy of Slinger, grandnephews, Benjamin Johnson and Bradley Ruback; one uncle Joe Kuncl and his wife Bernice of Lomira, two aunts, Betty and Lillian Johnson, both of Illinois; and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
