Mike was born on March 16, 1952 in Redwood City, California to Sam Ary and Kay Barnett. Mike served in the Marines and after his deployment in Vietnam, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering. Upon retiring from UNYSIS Corporation, he enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking, reading sci-fi books and coin collecting.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Ary and Kay Barnett.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kate Ary; children, Stacy Somontes and Cassandra Vickers; grandchildren, Jessica Vickers and Michael Vickers; siblings, Emil Ary, Albert Pardini, Dave Ary, Robin Kirby, Melody Wallace, Chris Ary, Mark Ary and Kandalena Ary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
