Kevin John Ashby passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007, surrounded by his family.

Born November 17, 1963 to Ralph Edward and Jean Ann (Gustavson) Ashby. He graduated from Viewmont High School and attended Weber State University. He served an honorable LDS mission in Lima, Peru. He resided in Centerville, Utah. Kevin was the favorite uncle, who loved to spoil his nieces and nephews. He loved BYU sports, especially football, and had a special love for collecting wolves and John Wayne memorabilia. Kevin had a great sense of humor, was very witty, and had a big, soft heart. The family would like to thank Kevin's friends with whom he worked at J. C. Penney's.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary; his grandparents; and his favorite pet, Butch. Survived by his parents; brothers, Craig (LoriAnn); Kyle (Kim); and Kristopher (Christina); and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at the Centerville Canyon View Stake Center, followed by interment in the Centerville City Cemetery.
