Steven Dee Adkins, of DuPont City, WV, born May 30, 1951, entered in Heaven's Gates March 26, 2019, at age 67.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Adkins, beloved mother, Genevieve Ransom, and stepson Nicholas Arthur. He was a truck driver and a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Adkins; children, Steve (Nicole) Adkins, Nikki Adkins (Steve St. Clair), Mandy (Jay) Walker, and stepdaughter Nicole (Jon) Sovine; grandchildren, Phillip Ruff, Gage and Kampton St. Clair, Taylor and Sonny Arthur, Myracle and Arabella Williams, Dylan Adkins, Garrett and Kameryn Lynch, David Early, Trey Walker and also Taylor, Lindsey, Brayden and Austin; brother, Robert "Stoney" (Bonnie) Adkins; sisters, Glendale (Charles) Lowther, Charlotte (Jim) Posey, Aconda (Bill) Bevino and Gloria Crouch; stepsisters, Linda (Rusty) Atkins, Vickie Estep, and Debbie Walker. Also survived by amazing helpers, sister-in-law, Faith Wilkinson; niece, Shaylyn "Shakey" Wilkinson; friends, Debbie Simms and Nancy Ash who blessed Steve and our family with their continued help, love and support.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday April 10, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with his brother Robert Adkins officiating. Burial will follow with Military Graveside Rites at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
