Mr. Mount was the son of Jas. Mount and was born at Red Bank. He was one of a large family. He married Miss Kate Poling, and of the fruit of the union four children survive.
Mr. Mount was a member of Chingarora tribe, No. 116, Improved Order of Red Men, and of Sir Walling lodge, No 109, Knights of Pythias. He was also a member of Keyport Engine company, No. 1, and was at one time a lieutenant of the same. These organizations will attend his funeral in a body, which will take place on Saturday afternoon, at 1 o'clock, from Calvary M.E. church. Interment at Green Grove cemetery.
