Born in Greenville, a son of Mrs. Anna Francis Donald and the late Jerry Donald, Sr., he was a career Marine who enjoyed woodworking, reading, music, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Donald was a member of Mount Airy Baptist Church in Easley.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and loving wife of fifty years, are sons, Reverend Shane Donald (Andrea) of Easley and Jason Donald (Shannon) of Pickens; grandchildren, Eve Donald, Kinsley Donald, Jasy Donald, Kolby Donald, and Zeb Donald; an uncle, David Francis (Juella) of Johnson City, TN; an aunt, Barbara Donald of Kingsport, TN; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by brothers, Daniel Donald and Timothy Donald.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
