MUNCIE - Clarabelle G. Vore, age 85, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 at The Waters of Muncie following an extended illness.
She was born October 11, 1921 in Muncie and was a life long resident.
She was employed by Warner Gear.
She was a graduate of Muncie Central, and a member of the UAW local 287, and the Alpha Senior Citizen Volunteer.
She is survived by her three children, Sharon (husband, Darrell) Smith of Claypool, IN, Alan (wife, Janet) Flowers of Kokomo, IN, and Jerry (wife, Debbie) Vore of Union City, IN; 5 grandchildren, Doug Smith, Lynn Smith, Brad (wife, Sandra) Flowers, Linda (husband, Brian) Huffman, and Amy (husband, Matt) Arnold; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger D. Vore; parents, Matson and Marguerite (Cox) Shaw; four brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Bryan officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
