Frank Anthony Buono, 74, a longtime resident of Bridgeton and Millville passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning April 9, 2019 in the emergency room at Inspira Health Center in Bridgeton.

He was born in Bridgeton on June 7, 1944 and was the son of the late Augustine and Josephine Scuderi Buono. Frank graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1962 and received his bachelor's degree from Pembroke College in North Carolina (now North Caroline University of Pembroke). In addition, he studied accounting at the Taylor School of Business in Philadelphia.

Frank was employed as the business administrator/board secretary for the Mauricetown/Haleyville School for 25 years before retiring nearly 20 years ago. He was also an accountant for seven years for GWC.

In his retirement, he spent several years being active in the Doylestown, PA area at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. He was a volunteer as the chief operations systems manager at Peace Valley Holistic Center in Chalfont, PA. for over 22 years. Frank was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Forth Degree Knight.

He is survived by three daughters, Angelina B. Reed of Millville, Renae V. Buono of Wayne, PA and Kellie M. Buono of Vineland, two grandchildren, Alexis Buono and Alexander McFadden and three great grandchildren, Kristina, Jayda and Dylan.

Additional survivors include two brothers, Salvatore Buono and his wife Karen of Millville and Anthony Buono and his wife Ginny of Upper Deerfield and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Muller, in 1992.

The funeral will originate at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton on Wednesday morning April 17th at 10:30 and will be followed by an 11 o'clock Funeral Liturgy at The Parish of the Holy Cross/St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 46 Central Avenue in Bridgeton.

The burial will follow in the family lot at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:30 until 10:30.
