Karen M. (Arndt) Anhalt, 55, of 3003 J-Mar Rd., Cato, Wisc. Was born into everlasting life on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000 in Encore Senior Villa, Manitowoc, Wisc. Funeral services were held in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, Wisc. With the Rev. Gerald Foley officiating on Oct. 23, 2000. Karen was born Oct, 26, 1944 in Billings, Mo, daughter of Dorothy M. and the late Curtis F. Arndt. She graduated from Nixa High School, Nixa, Mo. in 1962 She married Craig Anhalt on Nov. 6, 1965 in Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Wisc. Karen and Craig resided in Cato, Wisc for 28 years. She was employed at Northern Laboratories until illness prevented her from doing so. She was a member of the Lakeshore Curling Club and Branch River Country Club for many years. She was an avid walker and loved the outdoors. Karen is survived by her husband, Craig; two sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Charlene Anhalt, Elkhorn, Wisc. and Trevor and Melissa Anhalt, Manitowoc, Wisc; six grandchildren, Nathan and Harrison, children of Troy and Charlene Anhalt; Courney, Samantha, Justin and Jonathan, children of Trevor and Melissa Anhalt. She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Arndt, Highlandville, Mo.; four sisters, Doris Owens, Colorado Springs,. Colo., Jackie Nelson, Manitowoc, Wisc., Janet (Danny) Call, Reeds Spring, Mo. And Joyce (Richard) Williams, Nixa, Mo.; two brothers, Curtis (Cynthia) Arndt, Indianapolis, Ind. And Carl (Carole) Arndt, St. Charles, Mo.; special mother-in-law, Kay Anhalt, Manitowoc, Wisc.; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Curtis; four sisters, Patty Lou, Lois, Elizabeth Ann and Luann’ and one brother, Joseph.
