Graveside services for Michael James Adams, Jr., 62, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:30 AM, Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Job Edathinatt Scaria officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Michael was born January 10, 1957 and passed away April 11, 2019, after a lengthy illness.

Michael was an Entertainer and Musician. He loved to play music and was in numerous bands most notably "The Mistakes". He graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in Photography. Michael also enjoyed landscaping and graduated from LSU with a degree in Landscape Architecture. He was an Individualist, gardened, and loved to fish. Everyone loved to be around him, and he always made people laugh. Michael especially loved his family and his dogs.

Survivors include his mother, Freida Adams Brian; children, Michael John Adams and Anna Mary Elizabeth Adams; brother, Brent Adams and wife Rhonda; sister, Liese Adams Borden and husband Roland; nieces and nephews, Lane Borden Begg and husband Ian, Brent Douglas Borden, Lauren Alexandra Borden, and Kirstie Winter and her husband Ben; the mother of his children, and former wife, Ann Hopkins Johnston.

Pallbearers will be Michael John Adams, Tony Hope, Herbert Wilson, Terry Tugwell, Stan Harris, Kevin Edwards, Charles Ellis, and Scott Porter.
