Katherine Elizabeth Alexander, age 57, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away in Joplin, Mo., on April 7, 2019. She was born on April 21, 1961 in Vallejo, Calif., to Major Louis Joseph Toupal, Jr. and Sylvia Adele Toupal.
Kathy was a wonderful wife and caring mother who devoted all her time and affections to her family. She enjoyed spending her time gardening and was an excellent cook. She was loved dearly by her five grandchildren who lovingly named her Gigi.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Richard and Thomas. She is survived by her mother, her husband Kevin, daughters Brittany Sewell (Seth) of Webb City, Mo. and Danielle Fomin ( Daren) of Rockville, Md., son Cameron (Hayden) of Pea Ridge, Ark., brother Ronald (Suzanne) of Plano, Texas, and grandchildren Ava and Asher Sewell and Lochlan, Owen, and Greyson Fomin.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5-7 pm with Rosary at 6:30 pm at Callison Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, Ark. The funeral service will be at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville, Ark. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 2 pm. Burial will follow at the Bentonville (City) Cemetery.
