Donna Jean Bann, 49, of Tresckow, passed away Thursday at Weatherwood.
Born in Hazleton, Feb. 4, 1954, she was the daughter of Eugene E. Kunkel, Weatherly, and the late Margaret (Zelenak) Kunkel.
She was a 1972 graduate of Weatherly High School and a graduate of the Carbon County Vocational School of Nursing. A licensed practical nurse, she was employed at Hazleton-St. Joseph Medical Center in the telemetry department.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Weatherly.
Surviving, in addition to her father, are her husband, Robert Bann Jr., with whom she observed the couple's 20th wedding anniversary Sept. 15; a brother, Gerald Kunkel, and a sister, Debra Kunkel, both of Weatherly, four nieces and one nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church, Weatherly, with the Rev. James Burdess officiating. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery, Weatherly.
Friends may call at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
The Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Weatherly, is in charge of the arrangements.
