He was born May 15, 1931 in Milwaukee, son of the late Arthur R. Sr. and Florence Scherkenbach Posselt.
He was a graduate of Boys Tech High School in Milwaukee.
On August 9, 1952 he married Beatrice K. Booton in Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen
