She attended Chapman Grove School in Greenville County and was previously employed at martin Elementary School.
Affectionately known at "Dot", she was a multi-talented person with a generous heart and loved spending time with her family. Prior to her health declining, Dot thoroughly enjoyed the simple things in life like sewing, cooking, canning and preserving food, fishing and spending time in her beautiful garden. It was common for her to be accompanied by one of her nieces or nephews on a shopping outing, fishing, or picking fresh fruit and vegetables at her favorite produce farms.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Billie Donald Earle; a brother, June Chapman; and two sisters, Annie Sue Hill Burts and Shirley Ann Chapman. She accepted Christ and departed this earthly life to join them in a heavenly home.
