Willie passed away unexpectedly June 7, 2007 in Salt Lake City. He was born March 31, 1973 in Kolofoou, Tonga to Mele Kakala and Hingano Hehea Latu. Married Kimberly Ann Walton on July 9, 2004. He was a great friend to those he met, a wonderful son and brother, and a loving father to his son. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; son, Hingano Hehea Latu Jr.; his mother; siblings, Millie (Kapeli) Vunipola, Karen (Nuku) Ngatuvai, Kisione (Lila), Maata; mother and father-in-law, Marla and Jack Walton; brothers-in-law, John and Scott; grandparents, Maata and Isileli Fiefia; Willie's nephews and nieces, Lute, Pauline, Vunipola, Henga, Moakava, Isileli, Anau, Mariah, Denziel, Tabitha, Braxton, Houston, Jordan, Paige, Kennedy and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his father and his brother, Isileli. Funeral services will be held Sat., June 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday evening from 8-11 p.m. at the mortuary.
