Bryan E. Simpson, 94, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away on April 14, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Bryan was born on May 17, 1924 in Lanesville, Illinois, the son of Bryan and Capitola Simpson. He married Alberta Jane Lee on May 19, 1945 in Illiopolis, Illinois and she preceded him in death on March 29, 2018. Bryan was a farmer.

Bryan is survived by his wife’s family, one niece, Marilyn (Jerry) LeMire of The Villages, Florida and three nephews, David Lee of Illiopolis, Illinois, Paul (Jill) Lee of Illiopolis, Illinois and James Lee of Fayetteville, Georgia.

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Alberta.
