In the 1860 Census, Mina reported that her birthplace was Prussia while Friederich's was reported as Hannover.
Mina's first husband (my great great grandfather Friederich Buhre lka Buehre) served as a Teamster in the Civil War after having arrived here in the 1840s from Prussia, but he died 18 July 1866 & then my great great grandmother married Wilhelm Benjamin Mentzel 1 April 1867.
